How Does It Work?

 It's 11 on 11, with at least 4 women. It's exactly as you remember it (rolling ball, no bouncies) and we keep it exciting for everyone on the team through 2 of our divisions (Casual and Extremely Casual).

What's the Cost and What's Included?

 

Early/regular registration will open July 26th/August 6th and close August 5th/August 20th or earlier if the league sells out. The cost is $900/$1000 for a team of 18 players ($35 for each additional player over 18 - no limit to number of players on your roster) and $70/$80 for individuals (we'll get everyone on a team). ZogSports donates a percentage of our profit to charity.

Fee includes:

  • 6 regular season games
  • A heart-wrenching single elimination playoff tournament (50% of teams qualify)
  • Field fees
  • ZogSports umpires
  • One t-shirt per person on the roster
  • Field fees
  • Equipment - kickballs and bases
  • "Prize Money" from our sponsors donated to the winning team's charity of choice
  • League administration
  • Organized Happy Hours at local bars after the games

When Does It start and When Are the Games?

The season will begin September 12th. Games will be Sunday from 1:00-6:00PM.

The division you choose does not determine what time you will play.

 Where Are We Playing?

Games will take place at the following field. Because the amount of field space we have at each field varies we try and give all teams an even amount of games at each time.

  • Parade Grounds Field #9 (Park Side Ave and Parade Place)
  • McLaughlin Park (Jay and Tillary St)

 What Are the Rules?

This is a fun recreational league. So we want everyone to play, stay involved and stay safe. The key rules are:

  • 11 on 11, with at least 4 women on the field at all times with everyone present in the kicking order
  • No bouncie pitches
  • You can throw the ball at someone to get them out, but you must hit them below the shoulders
  • 7-inning games
  • See above for the full set of rules

Levels of Play
  • Casual Division - Played before? Not a bad athlete? This is the happy middle ground.
  • Extremely Casual Division - this is the pure fun division. It's for you if you're looking more for the social than the competition or consider yourself a beginner at the organized game.

ZogSports will try to accommodate all team and individual player requests for Division, but cannot guarantee all requests. We will not place an individual player more than 1 division (above or below) their original request. In order to create the best possible experience for the whole league ZogSports will place returning teams in the division we feel most appropriate.
