League Details

How Does It Work?

As with all of ZogSports' leagues, bowling is co-ed. It's 4 on 4, but a team can have more bowlers present and everyone will get a chance to play. You must have at least one male/female in all games. Each "match" is played over 2 games.

What's the Cost and What's Included?

Early/regular registration will open July 26th/August 6th and close July 5th/August 20th or earlier if the league sells out. League fees are $725/825 for a team of 6 players ($35 for each additional player over 6 - no limit to number of players on your roster) and $130/140 for individuals (we'll get everyone on a team). ZogSports donates a percentage of our profit to charity.

Fee includes
  • 6 regular season games
  • A heart-wrenching single elimination playoff tournament (50% of teams qualify)
  • Lane fees (Including shoes and balls)
  • ZogSports' Field Manager
  • One t-shirt per person on the roster
  • "Prize Money" from our sponsors donated to the winning team's charity of choice
  • League administration
  • Happy Hours at the lanes during the games!

When Does It Start and When Are the Games?

The league will begin September 11th. We play Sunday nights (1 match/week). All teams will play there games from 8PM-12PM with the latest match starting at 9:45pm.

Where Are We Playing?

All games will be played at:

  • Leisure Time Bowl in Port Authority. 625 Eight Avenue, 2nd Floor
Please note that game times, location and dates mentioned above are a very good guideline, but may change slightly.

What Are the Rules?

This is a fun recreational league. So we want everyone to play, stay involved and stay safe. The key rules are:

  • 4 on 4, at least one male and one female and 3 minimum to start.
  • Your team is responsible for getting 2 full 10 frame games played in the allotted 1.5 - 2 hour time frame.
  • You will have a total of 8 scores of which 6 will count.
  • Teams may rotate within 4 spots or have players sit out one of the 2 full games.
  • You will bowl within your own lane and play one other team per night.
  • Shoes/balls are included but you can feel free to bring your own.
  • For full set of rules, see link at top of page.

Levels of Play

  • Players Division - Think you're a jock? This division will be competitive, but still fun.
  • Sorta Players - Pretty good athletes, maybe played together before, but still social and laid back.
  • Casual Division - Played before? Not a bad athlete? This is the happy middle ground.
  • Extremely Casual Division - this is the pure fun division. It's for you if you're looking more for the social than the competition or consider yourself a beginner at the organized game.

ZogSports will try to accommodate all team and individual player requests for Division, but cannot guarantee all requests. We will not place a team or player more than 1 division (above or below) their original request.

If you are curious as to average scores for the various levels please use the link above and contact the League Manager
