How Does It Work?

It's 8 on 8, 5 men and 3 women on the field at all times. We play on a short field with a goalie and real goals. We keep it exciting for everyone on the team through our four divisions (Players, Sorta Players, Casual and Extremely Casual) (click here for full set of rules).

What’s the Cost and What’s Included?

Early/regular registration will open April 21 and close May 2/16 or earlier if the league sells out. 

League fees are $1,750/1,850 for a team of 15 players ($35 for each additional player over 15 - no limit to number of players on your roster) and $140/150 for individuals (we'll get everyone on a team). ZogSports donates a percentage of our profit to charity.

Fee includes:

• 7 regular season games and 1 scrimmage
• Hired ZogSports referees (1/game as the head ref - in addition to team linesmen)
• A heart-wrenching single elimination playoff tournament (50% of teams qualify)
• One t-shirt per person on the roster
• Soccer field fees
• Equipment
• "Prize Money" from our sponsors donated to the winning team's charity of choice
• League administration
• Organized Happy Hours at local bars after the games

When Does it Start and When Are the Games?

The season starts the week of June 8. Teams will play SUNDAYS afternoons/evenings. Games are from 3-10PM. Teams will have a game almost every week.

Where Are We Playing?

Games will take place at the following fields. Because the amount of field space we have at each field varies we try and give all teams an even amount of games at each locations.

What Are the Rules?

This is a fun, recreational league. So we want everyone to play, stay involved and stay safe. The key rules are:

• 8 on 8, 5 men and 3 women on the field at all times
• Short field with a goalie and real goals
• Two 24-minute running halves
• Head referee (1/game) provided by ZogSports
• Team referees still required - each team is responsible to providing 1 linesman either before or after their game

Levels of Play

• Players Division - Think you're a jock? This division will be competitive, but still fun.
• Sorta Players - Pretty good athletes, maybe played together before, but still social and laid back.
• Casual Division - Played before? Not a bad athlete? This is the happy middle ground.
• Extremely Casual Division - this is the pure fun division. It's for you if you're looking more for the social than the competition or consider yourself a beginner at the organized game.
